| The #84 had a tough time
at Oxford Plains Speedway on June 11th with a crash on the front straight in segment one
of the triple 50 lappers edning the chances for a good finish. Scott had trouble getting
the setup right for some speed and had run a good half second off the pace in time trials
to place 30th. The car looked better in heat two with a run from the back up to
fourth. For segment one,
Scott started in 19th and began a climb through the field. Up to 15th on lap 15, 14th on
lap 30, and then 11th on lap 39 Scott was then involved with several other cars in a front
straight wreck.
Necessary parts to repair the damage could not be brought back to the infield pits
in time to start segment two. The #84 was scored in 31st for both segments 1 and 2.
With repairs complete for segment 3, Scott started in 25th and ran up to 19th. A
lost lap and a pit stop put Scott back to 20th at the end.
An overall score of 82 put the #84 in 29th for the event. |
